Bathtime Fun!

Child's Farm Bubble Bath
Childs Farm Bubble Bath

Another milestone was completed this week: Chunk had his first bubble bath!
Yes I know, at nearly 3 years old that’s a bit shocking, but he has eczema and I’ve always been told bubble baths are a big no no.
I rarely take him swimming for the same reason, as it’s not worth the week-long rash he gets as a consequence.

I’ve been searching for a couple of years to find a bubble bath designed for eczema sufferers, but it’s been so hard!

I finally came across Childs Farm recently and noticed their Childs Farm Bubble Bath is supposed to be suitable for eczema prone skin, so thought we would give it a try.

It has a lovely tangerine smell, and a little bit goes a long way which is great value for money.
Chunk was really excited and loved playing with the bubbles- it was like Christmas for him!
Until he accidentally pulled the plug out when I wasn’t looking and it all drained out, but his skin didn’t break out the next day so this is definitely something we are going to use as a special treat every so often!

Mummy Bath Fun

Baldwins moisturising kitI was given a gorgeous Baldwin’s Moisturising Kit for Mother’s Day which had lots of lovely goodies for me to enjoy once in a while after Chunk is in bed and I can have some much needed R&R.

The kit comes in wrapped beautifully in a box and contains body wash, body balm, soap, a candle and a flannel. The products are designed to moisturise and relax skin, which is a must for any mum!

Bath Storage

peli's playful pouchChunk now has quite a collection of toys and my metal bath organiser is just not cutting it as you can see from the ‘before’ pic.
It doesn’t help that Chunk likes to dismantle it and throw it out the bath when he’s in it, and it can never fit his larger bath toys in it without causing the little ones to fall out everywhere (!!!).

So I went on the lookout for something better to store his junk and I came across Peli’s Playful Pouch.
It fits onto the side of the bath with an easy push clip and it is designed in the shape of a pelican’s head and all of the toys go into it’s mouth. This is in fact a large net so the toys can dry out hygienically whilst in there.

I love how easy it was to put together and to fasten to the bath, and it can fit so many toys in it of all shapes and sizes!

It can also be moved to face away from the bath for when any adults want to relax in the bath without any toys prodding their behinds.

So all in all we have had a very productive, fun and bubbly time this week!

All of these items were given to me for the purpose of testing for this review. No payment was received and all opinions are honest and my own.

Will have to try out Childs Farm as my son gets eczema and have to be careful what I use for him. He seems to be ok with Infacare and Oilatum.
