I adored Rainbow, Trap Door and Fraggle Rock on TV and I’ve even bought some of the DVDs to share with Chunk how great children’s TV was in the eighties.  When it comes to all things sweet, I used to loooove Cadbury Fuse bars, which sadly stopped being made a few years ago and to this day I still trawl the internet trying to find a recipe to recreate them! As well as this, we would have a treat every now and then of chocolate mousse for our pudding, and it was always Angel Delight, because it’s quick, easy and very tasty. Thankfully it’s still around so Chunk gets to enjoy the same treat! Chunk’s Bubblegum Angel Delight Recently Angel Delight brought out a new flavour: Bubblegum.  We were sent a couple of sachets to try and as soon as you open the packet you are hit by that familiar smell of bubblegum that took me back to my school days when my friends and I would compete to blow the biggest bubbles! It’s a lovely, light, fluffy pink mousse which Chunk devoured within minutes, and I may experiment with it in profitteroles or as a milkshake over the coming weeks.  I am more of a fan of all things chocolate these days, so I will remain loyal to Angel Delights’ chocolate mousse, but I think their bubblegum flavour may well become the flavour that my son’s generation will look back on when telling their own kids about their childhood pleasures! What were your favourite things as a child? For the purpose of this post I was sent two sachets of Bubblegum Angel Delight. This post is an entry for #AngelDelightMoments Linky Challenge.
