Giveaway: Win a Happiness Habits Jar from Adbra

25th May 2021

Forming positive habits is important for our mental health, but much harder to do than it sounds.

As somebody with a depressive disorder, I’ve always had an automatic negative outlook on everything.

This means that I spot the bad, but forget to notice the good, which just feeds the depression.

For most of us, the last year has been awful, so more people than ever are beginning to have a more negative outlook.

Let’s change this with some self-care practice!

With the rules of social distancing now starting to relax, we can finally start to do things that can boost our wellbeing.

This is a great time to find ways to help grow or maintain a positive outlook, which is why I’m giving away a special jar!

The Happiness Habits Jar

The Happiness Habits Jar from Adbra aims to help you form positive habits to improve your wellbeing.

There’s seven types of jars to help with:

  • Journaling
  • Self-Kindness
  • Motivation
  • Mindfulness
  • Positive Affirmations
  • Sustainability
  • Friendship

The jars are all handmade in East London and contain useful prompts, quotes, inspiration and activities to do with the topic of the jar.

Each glass jar is packed full of 30 colourful notes and the lid is wrapped in jute twine with an instruction tag, recycled tissue and is presented in a kraft gift box.

They make a great gift for friends and relatives and after the month is up, the jar can be passed on, a gift that keeps on giving.

I’ve always been quite a positive person as I get a thrill from cheering everyone up around me. So my motivation to feel positive is to sprinkle positively around and see how happy it makes other people.. I know it sounds silly but it makes sense to me haha

I always tell myself that not only could things be worse, but that I was lucky in the lottery of life being born in a country where no-one is dropping bombs on me nd I have healthcare available free of charge x

What a gorgeous idea. Every day I try and say out loud 3 things I’m happy about in my life. This would be a gorgeous item to forward on an act of kindness to someone

I think about all the other people who have it so much worse than me. This makes me appreciate what I have.
