Review of the Romantic Cancer Care Love Box from Cancer Care Parcels

Going through cancer treatment can be tough for anybody. I’ve known people who have gone through chemotherapy and it’s a physically and emotionally draining time for them.

Cancer Care Parcels offer gift packages for adults, children and teenagers to provide some comfort during the painful process.

The company was founded by Dr Shara Cohen after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She found little time to just relax and wanted to find a way to encourage this for cancer patients.

Going through the treatment herself, Dr Cohen understands what gifts a patient would find useful and comforting.

There’s an amazing range of gift packages for men, women, couples, teenagers and younger children. They can contain things to do, pampering products, massage products, music, gadgets and even motivational posters.

These packages are designed for all parts of the process from just being diagnosed, chemo, radiotherapy and to end of life for those who sadly cannot be treated.

I was sent the Romantic Cancer Care Love Box for Adults to see an example of what you can order. There’s an unboxing video at the bottom of this post and on TIkTok.

This box contains: two soft neck cushions, a gorgeous red, soft blanket, a ribbed foot roller, meditation candle, relaxing music CD, an eye gel mask, a water bottle, chocolate and ginger tea, earphones, a USB light and a ‘You Are Loved’ poster.

The box has a great mix of useful, pampering and comforting items. The USB light is great when reading in bed or in hospital and is lightweight. The ginger tea can help with the nausea chemo typically gives, and the water bottle is to keep the patient hydrated during their sessions.

The foot roller combined with the eye gel mask, meditation candle and music CD paints a relaxing picture of being able to calm and relax during treatment.

The blanket and neck cushions can enable couples to snuggle together during treatments and while the patient’s resting after a treatment session.

These are amazing for and I’m impressed with the thought that’s gone into the packages especially for children. They’ve included activities to keep them entertained during boring, tough treatments, like colouring and crafts.

If you know anybody who is very unwell at the moment I would definitely recommend looking into these packages as a gift to perk them up.
