Our Visit to the Brighton Upside Down House
Brighton’s Upside Down House |
The makers of the Upside Down House have already built three in other locations around the UK.
They want to give people the chance to capture images that are surreal and fun which you can definitely do in this house.
We had great fun exploring the two-storey house which has a bathroom, play room, bedroom, lounge and kitchen that you can explore.
The Bloke doing his thing |
Everything, even down to the smallest detail such as the skirting boards had been thought of and installed upside down!
I found it difficult to think of poses because my brain struggles to flip the image, but we had fun trying random poses which looked good.
Me doing mine! |
My favourite areas were the bedroom and the kitchen as there was quite a lot of things you could manipulate around those rooms.
The boys had great fun and my partner looked like Spiderman hovering over the bed which was my favourite picture.
The Playroom |
All you have to do is pose and take your photo, and then flip it via your phone image editor. Some people have been really creative and the company have posted these on their Facebook page for inspiration.
The Kitchen |
Apparently when the seasons change, so does the house, so I look forward to going back to see the changes in winter time.
I can imagine there might be pretty cool Halloween and Christmas themes being planned.
Overall the house is a great way to spend an hour during a weekend or school holiday.
It’s cheap entry per person, and the photos you create can become great prints for your mantelpiece.
Me doing a finger point pose |
The location is near lots of attractions, so it can easily be part of an activity-filled day out in Brighton.
Each of the houses have unique designs, so I like the idea of trying out the other three locations next!.
If you’ve tried one of the houses feel free to share your pics in the comments below.
