Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Father’s Day is nearly upon us already! Have you found any gifts during lockdown?

I think my Bloke and ex are sick of socks and mugs, so I’ve found some fun, low cost gifts that might inspire you too!

Cards

Let’s start with the cards! Obviously the cheapest way is to make your own card, which can also be sentimental. I have a few card ideas on my Pinterest Kids Craft Ideas board if you want inspiration.

Alternatively there’s some great cards you can buy on the internet, like these quirky ones from CoolSourceCards.

Collectables

If you have any men in the family who love gaming, retro games and classic films, collectables might be a good choice.

Fanattik have a great range of limited edition collectable from iconic games and films. This includes playing cards, jewellery, keyrings, bottle openers, collectable coins and more.

My favourites are the Back To The Future merchandise and the Jurassic Park bottle opener which is shaped like a dinosaur tooth. Some of the other films they feature is Jaws, The Godfather and Alien.

Unlike most collectable shops I’ve seen, Fanattik’s are affordable whilst still being good quality.

DIY Gifts

Nothing says I love you like a homemade gift. This year my son has made a mobile phone holder using a toilet roll and some craft materials. I got the idea from Pinterest, which is full of great crafty gift ideas.

Books

A novel by their favourite author is always appreciated, but there’s also some funny / useful books out there they might like.

Things To Do While You Poo On The Loo and Things To Do While You Poo On The Loo 2 are pocket-size books of activities to keep them entertained whilst on the toilet.

They include mazes, jokes, riddles, word games, Sudoku and even poop checklists!

Personalised Gifts

Shop of Silhouettes offer low-cost hand painted custom silhouettes that can be of your family or a celebrity from only £6.99.

I got this one of my partner, his two sons and my son which was taken during a great day out last year.

Alternatively, Selene Signs offer a variety of signs you can use outside your house, on your sheds, fences and even indoors.

Signs can be personalised by either images or text. They also have a lovely range of pre-made signs; I have one from their Maritime and Seaside range, called the Trio of Fish.

Games

The Totes Emosh emoji card game is a charades game for your face. You pick a card and pull the emoji face so others can guess which face it is.

I can already imagine my son and partner playing this, and how funny it will be to see the many faces they will pull! For only £7 it’s definitely a fun gift if you’re on a budget.

Pampering

Men love a good pamper like us ladies, and not too long ago I posted about some pamper products from Trend Him that would make great gifts.
