Wine O’ Clock!

22nd August 2014
Since having a Chunk and being a single parent since he was only a few weeks old, I rarely get to go out for a drink of an evening like I used to, mainly because it’s such a mission to organise!

So rather than spend every night working or sitting alone, I’ve decided to do something about it.

I got the idea when a very glitzy company, Glitterisms, asked me to review some of their unique, made to order glitter glasses. They kindly sent me these stunning teal wine glasses, which rather conveniently match my newly decorated kitchen (by yours truly I might add), and it was only fair that I tested them by having a little social evening in my home.

My Gorgeous Glitterisms Glasses

I rarely invite people to my home, mainly because these days I work most nights so don’t have the time, but I’ve realised that life is too short to work every evening. So these glasses were tested on a first date… in my home! Judge how you will, but we had been speaking for a while and knew each other through friends.

He brought the wine, and we tested out the glasses! He commented on how unique the glasses were, and when I have shown friends they have all loved how sparkly they are (as do I). I was initially worried about whether the glitter would come off onto my mouth when I drank from them (glitter is SO hard to wash off isn’t it?!) but thankfully not a single speck came off.

I also wasn’t sure about whether washing them would damage them, but I was assured using warm water and washing up liquid would be fine. I’ve used them a couple of times now and they have washed fine without causing any damage.

I think they are brilliant, and already have my eye on getting more, because Glitterisms make personalised ones to order. I’m turning 30 this year, and would love to have a special little set to celebrate with (I hope it will be a very alcohol-fuelled, messy birthday to say the least).

Competition

And if you like them just as much as me, you can enter my competition to win a whole Christmas Glitter Glass Set! To enter my competition, click here.

Xmas Competition Prize You Can WIN!

To complete this review I was sent these two glasses by Glitterisms. No payment was received, so all opinions are honest and my own.
