    Easter Crafts!

    2nd April 2015

My son and nephew have been very busy this week getting their craft on for Easter! They’ve made some rather cute Easter cards for their nannies, aunties and of course yours truly, and they’ve also dabbled with making bunny specs!

DIY / Upcycling: Redecorating My Bathroom

    5th January 2015

This Christmas was the fourth year I’ve lived in my flat, and the fourth year I’ve told myself I will not go another year with my disgusting, aged bathroom. And this time I managed to sort it in the first few days of the new year! The bathroom is completely tiled, and me not having…

DIY / Upcycling: My Small Hallway Table (Rustoleum)

    4th October 2014

Upcycling some chest of drawers for Chunk last week with Rustoleum products has really inspired me to carry on upcycling other furniture in our home . I’ve already completed another project in just a couple of evenings whilst watching my soaps and thought I would show you! I have a small table in my hallway…

DIY / UPCYCLING: Mending My Toddler-Destroyed Headboard

    27th September 2014

I’m still astounded by the damage and chaos a tiny toddler can cause within a matter of minutes seconds. Chunk was sitting on my bed quite peacefully and happily playing on his tablet and reading some books whilst I was hoovering the room, so I thought it was safe to run the hoover around the spare…

Attempting DIY: Trying Out Playdough SuperGlue (aka Sugru)

    18th July 2014

Before: My Collapsed Shelves One of the downsides of being on my own is that I am absolutely pants at DIY as common sense was not something I was born with, but as I have no gorgeous, practical man I have to give it a try!    My latest attempts have included fixing a book…

    DIY: Toybox On A Budget

    28th June 2013

Who wants to see my latest cheap (but great) creation for my little boy? As you all know I’m on a very tight budget, but I refuse to let my son go without; I just have to think of creative ways to get things sometimes!

I cant believe its been 4 weeks since I had that p I cant believe its been 4 weeks since I had that phone call from your sister and my world fell apart.
It brought me to my knees and I laid on the kitchen floor screaming for hours afterwards.

Only 12 days after my mum passing, days after you assuring me you'd be back for her funeral to be by my side.

There was no goodbye, no preparation.

I don't remember our last conversation or when I last said I love you and it haunts me

This pain is unbearable. Im grieving you, us, who i was before this happened and our future.

The pain of not having you here to grow old with, to talk to, to hold. I miss your voice, your smell, your walk.

You could calm me and understood me like nobody ever has.

I wish we had more time but im grateful we had 7 and a half years.

I hope you wait for me, as you are my person my soulmate, my everything.

Stoob and Cloob forever
