Toddler Book Review: Train! and Zip It

16th March 2015
Chunk has become a real little book work recently (just like his mumma who had exhausted the children’s section of the library by the time I was 10).

I love that he’s into reading stories (apart from when I have to read the same book five times in a row!) so I’ve been buying quite a few second-hand ones, and now his birthday is coming up I’ve also been looking for some new ones.

Zip It and Train!

Train! by Judi Abbot is a book for 3-5 year olds and is all about Little Elephant who loves trains, but his friend Cat wants to play with a plane, Penguin wants a car and Rabbit wants to play diggers.

The book shows the importance of sharing and compromise in order to be able to have fun with friends and the illustrations are lovely, bright and colourful.

Zip It by Patricia Hegarty is a fun, interactive book, with buttons, zips and bows to tie throughout the book. This is really useful in helping teach your little one how to use these fastenings and they kept Chunk entertained for hours!

These books were sent for review. No payment was received and all opinions are honest and my own.
