Cable and Cotton Lights: A Review

As the days are getting darker a lot earlier now we are heading into winter, I have been looking at prettier ways to light my living room. That’s where Cable and Cotton come in!

Cable and Cotton are a local, Brighton company, but they are also stocked across the country and can be ordered online.

I love their lights because they’re so original. The company call them “the next generation of fairy lights” because they set in gorgeous, little orbs that are handmade by skilled craftswomen in Thailand (don’t worry this business actually helps their community as they are paid fairly!).

You can choose whatever colours you want in your set of lights or choose from some pre-designed ones. I chose Caramel Swirl because the colours matched my chocolate brown and warm cream living room perfectly. You can also choose how many lights and the length of cord you want to suit wherever they are being displayed.

When they arrived they were simple to put together and lightweight so they can hang easily from most things. I chose to drape them on my large living room mirror, purely to avoid having to go to the effort of putting up cord clips (lazy I know).

I LOVE the way they look, as they are so soft, warm and just make my living room feel even more cosy.

I was impressed by how cheap they are, with a set of 20 lights from just £22.95, so that’s around £1 per light!

Some friends of mine have had custom coloured sets made for their children’s bedrooms and even their offices, so I’m sure it won’t be long until I’m ordering more for Chunk’s room and even my office space!

I was given a set of Caramel Swirl Cable and Cotton lights in order to write this review. No payment was received and all opinions are honest and my own.
