Competition: CBeebies Squidge Toy

If you have a toddler that’s a CBeebies fan like I do, you may well know the song they use for the bedtime hour.
“Now it’s time to say goodnight, to say sleep tight til the morning light…” -yeah you know the one!

I love this song, mainly because it means the countdown to toddler bedtime and mummy me time has begun!
The clever people at CBeebies have now put this song with a cuddly toy that lights up to help children go to bed.

CBeebies Sweet Dreams with Squidge Soft Toy is the character that tends to be planted around the CBeebies presenters in their studio all day everyday so was a very familiar face when Chunk was given this to test out.

He got quite excited when he pressed the toy and the whole thing lit up and started singing the tune he now associates with bedtime. He loved the lights, as are scattered over the toy and are all different colours (it looks particularly impressive in a dark room I must add).

It’s a cute little toy and Chunk tends to pick it up when he wants to lay on the sofa and rest during the day too, and just keeps listening to the music. The only thing that’s not so great for me is that it only sings one song, so after hearing it ten times I have to leave the room for a minute!

Other than that, it’s already been a well-used toy in the week we have had it, and I’m now giving you the chance to win one for your toddler!
