DIY/ Upcycling: Revamping the Hallway!
Oh my it’s been a very busy couple of months to the point that I’ve not had time to even blog about any of my latest upcycles and revamps!
This month I have taken on two major projects; My hallway and spare room.
My hallway has an archaeic dado rail but I don’t have the time nor money to rip it off and fill it all, sand it down etc. I’ve had a dusky orange on the top half of the walls and a dark beige on the bottom for four years and I wanted to brighten it up.

So I went for a bright white paint from Rustoleum and decided I wanted to also revamp my cupboard doors. I opted to lightly sand the doors (to give the paint a key to stick to) and then used some Rustoleum blue chalk paint.
I then sealed it with some Rustoleum Clear Sealer and here is the result!

What do you think?
My hallway is so much brighter and feels fresh, which is perfect for this lovely summer weather we’re currently having!
I used chalk paint because it has no odour, is water-based and dries quickly- all necessities with a small, hyper child like Chunk!
I was provided with Rustoleum products to test for the purpose of this review. No payment was received and all opinions are honest and my own.

Look really bright & fresh – love seeing before & after photos (& you can hardly notice the dado rail now!)
