Disciplining Children in Public:- Do You Dare?!

    13th August 2013

I’ve always been fascinated to see how parents deal (or not deal) with their children when they misbehave in public, and I’ve definitely seen the good, bad and very ugly throughout the years! Before I had a child, I would inwardly tut, laugh or roll my eyes when seeing mums or dads shouting, screaming, ignoring or…

    8th July 2013

So as you know, I’m slowly introducing potty training to my 15-month-old, and have found the perfect potty for home;- but what happens when we’re out and about? I have a vivid memory of me as a young child returning from holiday on a long car journey, desperately needing the toilet. My dad pulled over in a…

Potty Training: The Planning Stage & Picking the Perfect Potty

    26th June 2013

Although the time is not quite yet upon me for potty training to start, I’m aware of how painstakingly difficult it can be, so have started some of the process now! I’ve done a tiny bit of reading when I’ve had the odd 5 minutes (so you can imagine how little I’ve read!) and have…

I cant believe its been 4 weeks since I had that p I cant believe its been 4 weeks since I had that phone call from your sister and my world fell apart.
It brought me to my knees and I laid on the kitchen floor screaming for hours afterwards.

Only 12 days after my mum passing, days after you assuring me you'd be back for her funeral to be by my side.

There was no goodbye, no preparation.

I don't remember our last conversation or when I last said I love you and it haunts me

This pain is unbearable. Im grieving you, us, who i was before this happened and our future.

The pain of not having you here to grow old with, to talk to, to hold. I miss your voice, your smell, your walk.

You could calm me and understood me like nobody ever has.

I wish we had more time but im grateful we had 7 and a half years.

I hope you wait for me, as you are my person my soulmate, my everything.

Stoob and Cloob forever
