DIY/ Upcycling: My Motivation Board
My first is one that ties in quite nicely with my current weight loss targets, as I made a motivation board on both my fridge and toilet door.
I have tried putting photos on my fridge to deter me from eating in the past but after a few days you stop noticing the picture, so I decided to do something a lot harder to miss!
I painted my entire fridge with magnetic chalkboard paint from Rustoleum and created sections for workouts, things I need to get done (e.g. call doctors, fix the cupboard) and even a space for a shopping list!
The Motivation Board aka Fridge Freezer |
I painted the bottom part of my fridge freezer so Chunk had a space to get creative and to play with his magnets- the only problem is he wants to use my section too!
It was really easy to do, I literally painted three coats of it onto the appliance and it dried quite quickly.
I put some on the toilet door (my thinking room) as I wanted to use it for motivational quotes, which included some to help me stay on my weight loss journey, and others that reminded me to be a good role model for Chunk as I’m all he has got to look up to!
I then stuck some ribbon around the edges and I think it looks quite cute!

What do you think?
I was given Rustoleum Magnetic Chalkboard Paint to test for the purpose of this post. No payment was received and all opinions are honest and my own.

As soon as I get my own house I intend to do the same, I think it's a great idea! As I'm living in my parents house at the moment I'm pretty sure they would not take kindly to me redecorating their house.
